Read the trigger, not the price

The expensive SaaS mistake is rarely picking the wrong tool. It is adopting on a free tier, hitting a limit nobody mentioned, and being forced to pay at the worst possible moment - mid-migration, mid-launch, or once your data is already inside and getting it out is its own project.

So read the forces you to paycolumn first. Then ask when you will hit it: this month, this quarter, or never. If the honest answer is "inside the period I am committing to", price the paid plan now and decide on that number instead.
